Mainak Sarkar

Mainak Sarkar has extensive experience in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Researcher Manager at the R&D Centre of Indian Oil Corporation Limited since September 2005. Responsibilities include the technical evaluation of catalyst systems, providing technical services for refinery processes, and designing pilot plants. Prior to this role, Mainak Sarkar was a Senior Production Officer at Dabur Pharma Ltd., involved in the design and commissioning of a Disodium Pamidronate unit and overseeing production for a METAXALONE unit. Academic qualifications include an M. Tech in Petrochemicals & Petroleum Refinery Engineering from the University of Calcutta, a B. Tech in Chemical Technology, and a B.Sc in Chemistry (Hons) from institutions under the University of Calcutta.
