Rk Somany

Mr. R. K. Somany is Chairman and Managing Director of HSIL Limited; (Formerly Hindustan Sanitary ware& Industries Ltd). An entrepreneur of class, he was instrumental in bringing vitreous China technology to India in the 1960s, ushering in a new chapter in the sanitary ware industry with iconic brand 'hindware'. Mr. Somany has held several respected positions with esteemed organizations; President of The Associated Chambers of Commerce (ASSOCHAM); President of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, to name a few. And, at presently, he is the Executive Committee Member of Green Building Council & Chairman of India Plumbing Skill Council (IPSC).
