Ansen Thomas is currently serving as a Marketing Committee Member for IEEE MOVE INDIA since May 2022 and as a Membership Development Coordinator for IEEE SB MBCET since February 2022. In addition, Ansen holds the position of ECE Department Representative for the Indian Society for Technical Education at the ISTE MBCET Student Chapter and is a Core Team Member of Tensorz MBCET, both roles beginning in October 2021. Previously, Ansen acted as a Campus Ambassador for the IEEE IA/IE/PELS Joint Chapter in the Kerala Section from May 2021 to January 2022 and served as a Student Partner Ambassador for Ingress Hack in early 2021. Ansen is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, from 2020 to 2024.

Indian Society for Technical Education
Indian Society for Technical Education is a national, professional, non-profit making Society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. First started in 1941 as the Association of Principals of Technical Institution(APTI), it was converted into "Indian Society for Technical Education" in 1968 with a view to enlarge its activities to advance the cause of technological education in the country. The major objective of the ISTE is to assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organisations. At VIT, ISTE organises various Technical and Fun Events, Technical Workshops and Code-A-Thon.
