Indiana CTSI
Allison McKay (Schultz) is a Human Centered Design Researcher at Indiana CTSI since February 2023, possessing extensive experience in design research and workplace solutions. Previously, Allison worked at DORIS research as a Design Researcher, focusing on developing design research methods and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative datasets. Prior roles include Workplace Designer at Cummins, where Allison researched innovative workplace strategies, and a Board Operator at Reising Radio Partners, Inc. Additionally, Allison gained valuable experience as a Design Researcher in various positions, including internships at Conner Prairie and IU Health Methodist. Allison holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Communications, with a specialization in Design Thinking and Design Leadership from Indiana University Indianapolis, alongside an Advanced Certificate in Industrial Design from Design Community College and a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications and Business from Indiana University Bloomington.
Indiana CTSI
The Indiana CTSI brings together the state’s brightest minds to solve Indiana’s most pressing health challenges through research. It is a statewide research partnership among Indiana University, Purdue University, the University of Notre Dame and numerous life sciences businesses, government entities and community organizations. The Indiana CTSI engages with the public at every level of research, from basic science to patient care. The institute has been continuously funded by multimillion dollar grants from the National Institutes of Health since 2008 and is housed at the IU School of Medicine.
