Indiana CTSI
Christine Sego Caldwell, JD, MA, CIP, has extensive experience in research compliance and regulatory support, currently serving as the Regulatory Knowledge and Support Program Manager at Indiana CTSI since March 2015. In this role, Christine manages regulatory guidance for researchers, overseeing a team that navigates the IRB and FDA processes, drug/device IND/IDE submissions, and regulatory education for the clinical research workforce. Prior roles include serving as a Research Compliance Consultant for the IU Human Research Protection Program and as a Lead International Credentials Analyst at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. Christine's educational background includes a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, a Master of Arts in English from Indiana University Indianapolis, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Anthropology from Indiana University Bloomington, with a minor in German.

The Indiana CTSI brings together the state’s brightest minds to solve Indiana’s most pressing health challenges through research. It is a statewide research partnership among Indiana University, Purdue University, the University of Notre Dame and numerous life sciences businesses, government entities and community organizations. The Indiana CTSI engages with the public at every level of research, from basic science to patient care. The institute has been continuously funded by multimillion dollar grants from the National Institutes of Health since 2008 and is housed at the IU School of Medicine.
