Buren Jones currently serves as Vice President & General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, overseeing legal, compliance, contract, and regulatory functions, as well as leading the Human Resources Department since April 2015. Previously, Buren held positions at Hanover Insurance Group, including AVP - Industry Solutions, where leadership was provided over business segments with P&L responsibility for a portfolio of approximately $250 million, and AVP - School Niche, where a new market was developed resulting in growth from no premium to around $60 million in seven years. Earlier legal experience includes serving as an Attorney at Bose McKinney & Evans LLP, focusing on general litigation, collective bargaining, and administrative law. Buren holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, a Master of Music from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business and Music from the University of Evansville.
