Allison DePrey Singleton

Allison Singleton currently serves as the President of the Indiana Genealogical Society, a position held since April 2024, where leadership focuses on promoting Indiana's genealogical heritage and overseeing society operations. Since January 2016, Allison has been the Genealogy Services Manager and Senior Genealogy Librarian at the Allen County Public Library. Previous roles include Coordinator of Family History Programming, Assistant Coordinator for Education and Community Engagement, Collections Assistant, and Collections Intern at the Indiana Historical Society from August 2008 to January 2016. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Public/Applied History and a Master of Library & Information Science from Indiana University Indianapolis, along with a Bachelor's degree in History from the same institution.
