Chris Sanders

Chris Sanders is an experienced energy professional currently serving as the Vice President of Generation at the Indiana Municipal Power Agency since January 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing operations, maintenance, and capital improvements of generation facilities. With prior roles as Director of Generation at Luminant and Manager of Environmental and Chemistry at Dynegy, Chris has a strong background in project management, regulatory compliance, and environmental engineering. Earlier experience includes establishing engineering teams at OGE Energy Corp and serving as a Field Service Engineer at The Babcock & Wilcox Co. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration.
