Allison Malloy, an experienced English educator, has been with Carmel High School since August 2012 and has been recognized as a Teacher of the Year Semi-Finalist in 2018 and 2021. With a strong focus on building meaningful relationships, Allison has significantly increased enrollment in the AP Seminar course from 6 sections in 2014 to 17 sections in 2024. Concurrently, Allison serves as an AP Capstone Seminar Consultant with The College Board, where responsibilities include creating and refining performance tasks and designing skills-based lessons. Additional roles include teaching English online at Indiana Online and serving as an adjunct lecturer at Indiana University Bloomington. Previous teaching positions at the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township and Crown Point High School highlighted a proven ability to improve student performance outcomes. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in English and Secondary Education from Butler University and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Ball State University.
