Debora Porter

Debora "Deb" Porter has an extensive background in education and advocacy. Debora "Deb" currently serves as UniServ Director at the Indiana State Teachers Association. Previously, Debora "Deb" worked as a Music Teacher at Portage Township Schools for over two decades. Deb also held the position of Valparaiso City Council member with the Democratic Party, where Debora "Deb" focused on human rights and supporting teachers. As the President of the Portage Association of Teachers, Debora "Deb" oversaw contract negotiations and district committees. Deb holds a Master of Science in Music Technology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and a BA in Fine Arts in Music Education from Valparaiso University.
