Ananya Balaji

Lifeline Emt-b at Indiana University Health

Ananya Balaji is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Pain and Addiction Lab at the IU Gill Institute for Neuroscience and serves as a LifeLine EMT-B for Indiana University Health. Involved in multiple roles, Ananya holds positions as Chief of Clinical Education, EMT-B, Quality Assurance Director, and First Aid Provider in the Intra Collegiate Emergency Medical Service, along with being an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Genetics at Indiana University Bloomington. Ananya also participates as a College Ambassador and Undergraduate Researcher in the Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Research Experience Program, and takes on the role of IUSM Centralized Cores Intern at Indiana CTSI. Leadership skills are demonstrated as an Officer of the Hutton Honors Council Association. Past internships include a Research and Development Intern at Eli Lilly and Company and summer research experiences at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Ananya is pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Neuroscience and Molecular Life Sciences at Indiana University Bloomington, expected to graduate in December 2025.
