David Ingram

EVP, Chief Medical Officer at Indiana University Health

David Ingram, MD, is the chief medical executive for the Indiana University Health system. He has been a part of the IU Health team for more than two decades, most recently serving as president of IU Health Physicians.

Dr. Ingram earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Brown University, is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and holds a master’s degree in theology/ethics from the Divinity School at Vanderbilt.

He completed his residency and chief residency in pediatrics at the University of California at San Francisco. And then, he completed two fellowships with the IU School of Medicine–one with the National Institute of Health-funded Pediatric Scientist Development Program; another with neonatal-perinatal medicine.

Dr. Ingram is board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine.
