Leah Nellis currently serves as the Interim Assistant Vice President for School Partnerships and Lead Strategist for Academic Programs at Indiana University, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Leah Nellis was the Vice Chancellor for Innovation and Special Projects, as well as the Dean and Professor at Indiana University Kokomo from July 2017. Leah Nellis has extensive experience in academia, having held positions as Associate Professor and Director of the School Psychology Doctoral Program at Indiana State University, and as an Assistant Professor of School Psychology at both the University of Kentucky and Northern Arizona University. Early career roles include School Psychologist at Perry Township Schools and with the Grant County Special Education Cooperative. Leah Nellis earned a Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Sciences, Sociology, and Organizational Leadership from Purdue University.
