Michael Finkler

Michael Finkler has been a Professor of Biology at Indiana University Kokomo since 1998, where Michael advanced from Assistant Professor to Professor after receiving tenure and promotion. Finkler has also held leadership positions with the Indiana Academy of Science, serving as Treasurer from June 2015 to May 2024 and as President from June 2011 to May 2014. Prior experience includes various teaching roles at Miami University from 1992 to 1998 while pursuing advanced degrees. Finkler holds a Ph.D. in Zoology with a focus on Physiology and Ecology and a B.A. in Biology and Religion from Kalamazoo College.
