Jefferson Shreve

Advisor at IUPUI

Jefferson Shreve has been an active member of the Indianapolis business and civic community for the past three decades. He founded Storage Express just out of IU. Shreve previously served as an appointed commissioner on Indy's Metropolitan Development Commission. He was appointed by then-Governor Pence to Indiana's State Workforce Innovation Council. Shreve is serving in his second term on the board of directors of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He's active on several board committees.

Additionally, he represented his hometown of Indianapolis for two terms on the City-County Council from 2013-2016 and again from 2018-2019.

Shreve previously served on the board and executive committee of IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Prior to that, he served as vice-chairman of its hospital foundation.

Shreve earned his BA at Indiana University, his MBA from Purdue's Krannert School, and his MA from The University of London.

He served for five years on the IU Alumni Association's board, including as the elected National Chairman of Indiana University's 700,000-person living alumni body. He continues in service on the IUPUI Board of Advisors, and on the IU College of Arts & Sciences Executive Dean's Board.

Jefferson and his wife Mary (Kelley) Shreve live in both Indianapolis and Bloomington.
