Heiko Konig

Heiko Konig is a highly experienced medical professional with a distinguished career in academia and clinical practice. Currently serving as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine since July 2014, Heiko also holds the position of Executive Director at Eli Lilly and Company since January 2021. Previous experience includes a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital from July 2011 to June 2014, residency in Internal Medicine at St. Louis University Hospital from July 2008 to June 2011, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Leukemia and Stem Cell Research at City of Hope from August 2005 to June 2008. Heiko's early career included roles in hematology, oncology, cardiology, and internal medicine in various prestigious institutions in Germany. Heiko holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a Doctorate in Medicine from The Philipp University of Marburg.
