Jane Hartsock

Jane Hartsock is an accomplished professional in the field of clinical ethics and medical humanities, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Ethics at IU Health Methodist Hospital since June 2018. Jane also holds multiple academic positions, including Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medical Humanities at Indiana University School of Liberal Arts and Co-Director of the Scholarly Concentration in Medical Humanities at Indiana University School of Medicine. Additionally, Jane is a Faculty Investigator at the Indiana University Center for Bioethics and serves as Senior Affiliate Faculty at IU Health Fairbanks Center for Medical Ethics. Previous experience includes roles as Of Counsel and attorney with Huston May & Fayez, LLC, and Huston & May, LLC, focusing on healthcare and insurance defense. Educational credentials include a JD in Health Law from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, an M.A. in Philosophy with a concentration in Bioethics, and a Fellowship in Clinical Medical Ethics from IU Health.
