Jason Schaffer serves as the Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer at Indiana University Health since October 2017, where previous roles included Associate CMIO and CMIO for the Adult Academic Health Center. In addition to this position, Jason has been an Associate Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine since June 2002. Prior to his current role, Jason was the Medical Director of Interoperability at Indiana University Health from 2015 to 2017. Jason's educational background includes a Master's degree in Medical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Miami University.
