Kathy Zoppi

Assistant Designated Institutional Official (dio) And Visiting Clinical Professor at Indiana University

Kathy Zoppi is currently serving as the Assistant Designated Institutional Official and Visiting Clinical Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine since January 2024. Zoppi has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Centers since March 2022 and a member of the Deans Advisory Council at Butler University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences since January 2016. Prior to these roles, Zoppi served as Senior Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at Community Health Network, where responsibilities included the development of new residency programs and support for educational initiatives in graduate and undergraduate medical education. Additionally, Zoppi was a founding board member for the Indiana Health Advocacy Coalition and held various leadership positions at Community Health Network and the Indiana University School of Medicine, focusing on medical education and research. Zoppi holds a PhD and MPH in Public Health and Health Communication from the University of Michigan, along with a BA in Speech Communication and Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
