Al Stovall

Al Stovall currently holds the position of Deputy Sr. Director of Public Safety at the Indianapolis Airport Authority, a role that combines thirty-five years of risk management and process improvement experience, alongside critical thinking skills, contributing to the organization's operational success. Prior to this, Stovall served as Chief of Public Safety Communications and Deputy Chief of Strategic Planning & Risk Management for the City of Indianapolis from March 2012 to January 2019. Additionally, Stovall was the Battalion Chief Safety Officer for the City of Indianapolis Fire Department from July 2008 to March 2012. Stovall earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana State University between 1980 and 1985.
