Dan O'Donnell

Daniel O'Donnell has extensive work experience in the field of emergency medical services. Daniel began their career in 2008, first serving as the Medical Director for Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS), where they provided medical oversight and was responsible for continuous quality improvement, protocol development, and provider education. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Chief of Indianapolis EMS, overseeing all clinical, administrative, and operational aspects of Indiana's largest provider of 911 EMS transport services. In addition to their work at IEMS, O'Donnell also held the position of Chief Indianapolis EMS, Associate Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine, and Physician at Indiana University Health Physicians.

Daniel O'Donnell completed their education at Wayne State University School of Medicine from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Prior to that, they attended the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biopsychology. In addition, they obtained certification as an American Board of Emergency Medicine Diplomate from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 2008.
