Adam Burdett has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Adam started their career as a Student Software Developer and later as a Junior Software Developer at Brigham Young University from September 2014 to August 2016. Adam then joined Hyperledger as a Hyperledger Indy Mentor from January 2019 to August 2019, where they mentored a student Mentee and reported to Hyperledger. Adam was then employed at Brigham Young University again as a Lead Distributed Systems Developer from September 2017 to October 2020, where they wrote and maintained Wrangler, a KRL operating system for the PicoLabs IoT platform. Adam then worked at the Sovrin Foundation from May 2018 to October 2020 as a Software Engineer, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer. In this role, their duties included writing code for developing and supporting the Sovrin community, on-boarding new contributors, creating developer documentation, participating in open standards development, and representing the Sovrin Foundation in electronic communications and events. Lastly, Adam is currently working at Indicio as a Senior Software Engineer I, starting in January 2022. In this role, they create expert design concepts, demonstrates distinguished programming experience, works independently on complex projects, and mentors junior engineers.
Adam Burdett attended Utah Valley University from 2006 to 2011, during which they pursued General Studies as their field of study. Following this, from 2011 to 2018, they enrolled at Brigham Young University and successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
