Elias Gabriel has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Software Intern at Wikipedia, where they co-invented a new information retention feature. Elias then served as a Summer Camp Counselor at Riverdale Country School in 2017. Following that, they joined Riverdale Country School again as a Technology and Media Consultant, where they created a utility for burning subtitles into videos.

In 2019, Elias became the Head Lifeguard at COPOCO Pool & Tennis Club, responsible for maintaining pool facilities and streamlining the hiring process. Elias also had multiple roles at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, such as Special Projects Coordinator, developing opportunities to combat inequity in entrepreneurship and engineering fields, and Teaching Assistant for sustainability and modeling courses.

In 2021, Elias worked as a Backend Engineer Intern at Indico Data, contributing to feature development and supporting deployments. Elias later re-joined Indico Data in 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer I. Additionally, Elias co-founded The Glass Files in 2017, serving as the CTO, overseeing workflow and process documentation, designing new platform features, and improving performance.

From 2018 to 2022, Elias worked at MetaBronx as the Director of Technology, handling infrastructure management, software migration to the cloud, and reducing infrastructure costs by 70%. Elias also managed the development of a business management and information software suite.

Elias Gabriel obtained their Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Computing & Concentration in Food and Environmental Sustainability from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering between 2018 and 2022. Prior to that, they completed their High School Diploma at Riverdale Country School from 2004 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Elias also obtained certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in May 2019. Recently, in 2022, they pursued further studies in Food Studies and Sustainability at The Umbra Institute.
