Nathan Okolita

Nathan Okolita has been working in the IT industry since 1998. Nathan began their career as a Lead Network Technician at Filene's, where they were responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer and networking equipment on a 500+ node network. Nathan then moved to Staples in 2000, where they worked as a Web Specialist, monitoring all web production servers and equipment to ensure minimal web disruption. In 2002, Nathan took a position as a Project Manager at VenMill Industries Inc., where they designed the VMI3500 industrial automated CD/DVD repair machine, managed the customer support department, and assisted in developing and implementing new sales and marketing strategies. In 2008, Nathan began working as a .Net Programmer and IT Specialist at Pride Stores, developing software and tools using .net and ASP.net to improve store logistical operations. In 2015, Nathan started their own business, Okolita Services, where they developed web applications in .net for use primarily with mobile devices. From 2016-2018, Nathan worked as a DevOps Engineer at aimtheory, where they created CI/CD automation pipelines using technologies like Jenkins, Chef, AWS (Amazon Web Services) CloudFormation, and cloud agnostic sparkleformation. In 2020, Nathan began working as a DevOps Engineer at indico data.

Nathan Okolita attended Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained their High School degree in Electronics.
