James Morgan, CSM

CEO at IndieBox

James Morgan, CSM has a long history of work experience in the gaming industry. James began their career in 2006 as the President of Orlando Game Developers. In 2008, they became a Producer at Gorilla Systems Corporation, where they oversaw daily operations of multiple Warner Bros Games/THQ/Ubisoft titles, prototypes, and pitches for Nintendo DS and Wii. In 2009, they were a Producer and Designer at Xeko/Hairy Entertainment, where they designed and produced features based on requirements from nationwide retail partnerships. In 2010, they were the Studio Manager at Sky Parlor Studios, where they co-developed software studio that specialized in experimental technologies within iOS/Android games and apps. That same year, they were the Director of Volunteer Services for the Georgia Game Developers Association. In 2012, they were the Executive Director for the Orlando Chapter of the International Game Developers Association and the Product Manager for Together Games, LLC. In 2013, they were the Projects Director at TrueNorth Technology Solutions, Inc. and in 2018, they became the Product Manager at Design Interactive, Inc. In 2014, they founded IndieBox, where they built and created a subscription box/full-service retail merchandise corporation. James raised $750K in capital for the start-up.

James Morgan, CSM, holds an Associates of Science in Business Administration from Darton College, which they earned between 2000 and 2002. James went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Game and Simulation Programming from DeVry University between 2004 and 2008.
