Kunal Patel

Kunal Patel has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Kunal began their career in 2004 as the CTO and Lead Software Architect for Nina Plastics / Niaflex. In 2005, they became President and CTO of Phykentech. Kunal then co-founded PhykenMedia in 2010, where they focused on providing interactive experiences for the global entertainment industry. In 2013, they co-founded IndieNomicon, a celebration of independent games and culture. In 2014, they became the Director of Innovation and Technology Partnerships for Fattmerchant, where they helped the company grow from a small handful of customers to several thousands. Kunal also served as an Advisor for Orlando Tech, a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization that serves as the unified voice of the greater Orlando tech community. In 2015, they became the Director of Hashbang Games, a game and interactive development house. In 2017, they became the Executive Director of Orlando Game Space, a 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Downtown Orlando focused on gaming, AR/VR and emerging technologies. Finally, in 2018, they became CoFounder and CTO of BrandXR.

Kunal Patel attended the University of Miami, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Math.
