Founder and CEO at Indigital

Mikaela Jade is the founder and CEO of Indigital Edutech, an organization focused on digitizing and translating knowledge and culture from remote and ancient communities. Through their signature program, Indigital Storytelling, they use innovative technologies such as drones, 4D mapping software, and augmented reality to bring cultural sites alive. Mikaela Jade is also involved with the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, where they serve on the Minister Husic Pathways to Diversity in STEM Review Panel. In addition, they are a board member of SmartSat CRC and Pollination. Mikaela Jade holds various roles within the World Economic Forum, including being a member of the Global Future Council on the Future of Metaverse and the Steering Committee on Indigenous Trade and Investment. Mikaela is also an activator for SheEO™ and part of the Reconciliation Action Plan Advisory Board at Microsoft. Furthermore, Mikaela Jade is a fellow with the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation and a professional associate at the University of Canberra.

Mikaela Jade's education history is as follows:

In 1998, they began studying at the University of Technology Sydney, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology. Mikaela'smajor focused on Coastal and Marine Ecosystems. Mikaela completed their studies in 2001.

Later, in 2006, Mikaela Jade enrolled at Charles Sturt University, where they pursued a Post Graduate Indigenous Land Management degree. Mikaela'sstudies included Indigenous Studies, Tourism and Visitor Management, and Working on Country. Mikaela completed this program in 2007.

In 2016, Mikaela Jade attended BSchool Australia, where they obtained a Diploma of Business. Mikaela'sfield of study was Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations. Mikaela completed this diploma program in 2017.

Following their diploma, Mikaela Jade pursued a Master's degree in Applied Cybernetics at The Australian National University. Mikaela began their studies in 2020 and completed them in 2021.

In 2023, Mikaela Jade attended the Harvard Kennedy School, where they pursued a degree in Leadership for System Change: Delivering Social Impact at Scale. Mikaela had previously obtained a certification in this field, and they decided to further expand their knowledge and skills by studying at Harvard. Mikaela completed their studies at Harvard in the same year.

Throughout their education, Mikaela Jade also obtained additional certifications. In 2012, they became a Cabrogal Clan Descendant through the MERANA Aboriginal Association for the Hawkesbury. Additionally, they obtained another certification from the Darug Tribal Aboriginal Corporation, although the institution is unspecified.
