Juan Carlos de la Vela Benavides

Juan Carlos de la Vela Benavides has worked in the technology industry since 1994. Juan Carlos began their career at Istel, S.A. as an IT Project Leader. In 1996, they moved to Vodafone, where they held the roles of Network Planning Manager and IT Manager. In 1998, they joined Orange Spain as Key Account Sales Director. In 2008, they moved to RIM as Sales Director for Blackberry. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Motorola Mobility as Country Manager for Spain and Portugal and Global Head of Telefonica Account. From 2017 to the present, they have been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at indigitall and Professor and Mentor of the Digital Transformation Executive Program at Escuela de Organización Industrial.

Juan Carlos de la Vela Benavides attended the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1987 to 1994, earning a Telecommunications Engineer degree. Juan Carlos then attended IE Business School from 2000 to 2001, earning an Executive MBA. In 2013, they attended the University of Maryland, completing a course in Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies.
