Monica Eggermont has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Monica started their career at Universiteit Antwerpen in 2013 as a PhD Researcher in Medical Sciences, specializing in Neuro-urology. Monica worked in this position until February 2018.
Following their research role, Monica joined Pfizer in March 2018 as a QO Engineer for Medical Devices. Monica held this position until February 2020 and then transitioned to a Project Engineer role in Product Support Components & Devices. Monica worked in this role until their departure from Pfizer in March 2023.
In March 2023, Monica joined Indigo as a Senior QC Engineer, where they are currently employed.
Monica Eggermont pursued their education in a systematic manner, starting with their high school diploma in Math and Sciences from O-L-V Hemelvaart Waregem between 2002 and 2008. Monica then went on to complete their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Ghent University, graduating in 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Medical Radiation Sciences from the same university, which they completed in 2013. Monica broadened their academic horizons by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medical Sciences with a specialization in Neuro-urology from the University of Antwerp. Monica'sPhD journey spanned from 2013 to 2018. Throughout their education, Monica Eggermont demonstrated a dedication and passion for medical and biomedical sciences.
