Kevin Calzia

Kevin Calzia is a skilled professional with extensive experience in applications technology and scientific consulting. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Applications Technology at Indigo since August 2017, Kevin leads the development of microbial formulations for agricultural applications. Prior to this role, Kevin was a Managing Scientist at Exponent, providing consulting in various industries including biotech and alternative energy. As the Director of Bioprocessing and Principal Scientist at Joule Unlimited Technologies, Kevin spearheaded R&D in photobioreactor development for fuel production. Additional experience includes work as a Senior Scientist at Dow Chemical/Rohm and Haas and as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where Kevin earned a PhD and MS in Polymer Science and Engineering. Academic credentials also include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
