Nicole Fijman is a seasoned data scientist and GIS specialist with extensive experience in data management and spatial analysis. Currently at Indigo since October 2019, Nicole manages complex data pipelines, coordinates field data campaigns, and develops predictive algorithms integrating remote sensing features and agricultural sciences. Previous roles include project coordinator at Indigo, where Nicole created cost-benefit analyses and managed project timelines, and boundary specialist focusing on delineating field boundaries using QGIS. Additionally, as a GIS specialist at Thompson Engineering, Nicole produced comprehensive maps and conducted spatial analyses related to wetland habitats. Nicole holds a Master’s degree in Biology from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Rhodes College.
