Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Cox Automotive Australia from December 2021 to May 2025, and significant positions at Smith Motor Group, Loan Place Group, Presidian Group, Lloyds Banking Group, and Bank of Scotland. Bolton's extensive background spans sales management, business development, and financial services across multiple sectors, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Hons in Economic and Social History from the University of Leeds.
