Begoña López-Cano Ibarreche

Begoña López-Cano Ibarreche's work experience includes holding the role of Chief People Officer at Inditex (Zara) since 2008. Prior to that, they served as the Corporate Logistics People Manager at Inditex from 2003 to 2008. Before joining Inditex, they worked at Eroski Supermarkets as the Organization and People Director from 1995 to 2003. Begoña also began their professional career at Continente Supermarkets, where they held various Human Resources positions and eventually became the People Director from 1991 to 1995.

Begoña López-Cano Ibarreche pursued their education chronologically, beginning with a Psychology degree at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca from 1985 to 1990. Begoña then obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, which they completed in 1992. In more recent years, Begoña pursued further education in the field of textile manufacturing, specifically focusing on the foundations of textile manufacturing at the Inditex Sustainable Fashion School within the University of Leeds. This program is scheduled to be completed between 2021 and 2023.
