Emily L. Phelps

Emily L. Phelps is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations, advocacy, and strategic communications. Since November 2016, Emily has served as National Press Secretary for the Indivisible Project, where contributions to the viral Indivisible Guide helped galvanize a national activist movement. Prior roles include Field Communications at Indivisible, where Emily connected grassroots organizers with media, and various consulting positions that focused on social impact. Previous employment includes serving as Communications Director for Rep. Bart Gordon and roles in several political campaigns. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Film from Claremont McKenna College.
