Jesús Barroso Seano

Jesús Barroso Seano has a strong background in computer vision and deep learning, with experience in various industries. Jesús started their career at Grupo Digital as a Software Developer before moving on to IXION Industry & Aerospace as a Computer Vision Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for integrating and maintaining computer vision software for industrial applications and robotics. Jesús then joined Lector Vision S.L. as a Computer Vision Engineer, specializing in video analytics for traffic applications and conducting research and development in computer vision. Currently, they are working at Indra as a Tech Lead for Computer Vision & Deep Learning, where they are responsible for the analysis, design, and development of computer vision and deep learning software for the Transportation Department. Jesús is also leading the technical aspects of computer vision and deep learning projects and implementing MLOps platforms for deep learning developments.

Jesús Barroso Seano obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Signal Processing from the Universidad de Alcalá from 2009 to 2011. Jesús also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering, majoring in Sound and Image, from the Universidad de Extremadura, earned between 2004 and 2009. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" from Coursera in 2019, as well as "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in 2018.
