Mercader Josep

Mercader Josep has extensive experience in the field of engineering and management, currently serving as the Network and Systems Manager at Indra, a position held since September 1993. In addition to overseeing physical security projects internationally, Mercader is responsible for managing the Engineering Security Systems team and has expertise in designing advanced alarm systems and centralizing security technologies. Since April 2017, Mercader has also been the Financial Manager at eXO Expansió de la Xarxa Oberta, focusing on promoting open telecommunications networks. Previous experience includes roles in design and firmware development for communications and vending systems, as well as serving as an associate professor at the UPC electronic department, where research centered on VLSI design. Mercader holds an Executive MBA from ESIC Business & Marketing School and a Master in Industrial Engineering from UPC.
