Luis Sarmento

Luis Sarmento is the Co-Founder & CEO at Inductiva Research Labs, where Luis researches the application of machine learning methods to solve scientific problems. Previously, Luis worked as a Research Scientist at Google and as a CTO at Tonic App. Luis also held roles at Amazon as an Applied Science Manager and at SAPO as a Big Data Engineer. Luis has a Phd in Computer Science from Universidade do Porto and a Bsc+Msc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
