Siddharth Banerjee

Mr. Siddharth Banerjee is Head - Global Markets Group and Financial Institutional Group at IndusInd Bank. He joined the Bank in July 2012 and holds over 25 years of experience within the banking sector. At IndusInd Bank, he is in-charge of Global Market Sales and Trading across Forex, Derivatives and Credit, and has played a pivotal role as a leader over the years. Prior to this Siddharth held various positions at HSBC, Deutsche Bank, HDFC Bank, ABN AMRO NV, and ANZ Bank. At ANZ Bank (Mumbai), he was co-head of Global Markets India and his skills and expertise were crucial in driving the business for the bank. He completed his schooling from St. Edmunds School, Shillong, and went on to peruse his graduation in Economics with a ‘Gold Medal’ from St Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. He holds an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Leeds, UK. Siddharth is an avid football lover and has represented his school and college in the sport. He has also represented ABN Bank at the Brand Equity Quiz contest and won the third prize.
