Diptayon Basu is a legal professional with extensive experience in real estate and contract law. Currently serving as a Principal Associate at IndusLaw since April 2022 and at Anup S Shah Law Firm since January 2013, Diptayon specializes in drafting various transaction documents such as Agreements for Sale, Lease Deeds, and Partnership Deeds, while also overseeing title due diligence in Karnataka. Previous experience includes a role as an Associate at Khaitan & Co. focusing on due diligence and real estate advisory, along with internships at prominent law firms such as AZB & Partners and Fox & Mandal, where research on commercial and intellectual property laws was conducted. Diptayon holds a BA. LL.B (Hons) from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences and has a strong academic background in economics and commerce from La Martiniere for Boys.
