Joy Balepile

Joy Balepile has over two decades of experience in finance and strategic management, currently serving as the Head of the Automotive and Transport Equipment Strategic Business Unit at the Industrial Development Corporation of SA Ltd. since May 2003. In this role, Joy focuses on enhancing Manufacturing Value Add in the automotive sector to boost local content and support transformation efforts within the industry. Previous positions held include Programme Manager, Senior Account Manager in both Venture Capital and Chemicals and Textiles, as well as Account Manager and Business Analyst at IDC. Prior to joining IDC, Joy worked as an Internal Auditor at SABMiller and as a Trainee Accountant at Deloitte & Touche. Joy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and an Honours degree in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
