Ted Moloto

Ted Moloto, MMFI, is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors across Africa. Currently serving as a Senior Dealmaker at the Industrial Development Corporation since October 2022, Ted oversees the origination, execution, and management of financing deals in the renewable energy value chain. Previous roles include serving as an Investment Professional at Cinga Capital, where advisory services were provided for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring, and at the Development Bank of Southern Africa, focusing on long-term debt funding for infrastructure projects. Additionally, Ted has held positions as a Non-Executive Director at Duron Thermal Applications and as an Investment Professional at Makalani Management Company. Educational credentials include a Masters in Finance and Investment from Wits Business School and a Postgraduate in Advanced Company Law from the University of the Witwatersrand.
