She is a life member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. She has over 25 years of oil & gas industry experience in the various areas including polymers, chemicals and petrochemicals for techno-economic feasibility studies, market research studies, refinery and port terminal studies. She has extensively worked in the field of engineering plastics, commodity plastics, synthetic rubbers, bulk chemicals and petrochemicals and inorganic chemicals.

Closely focusing on end-user markets and consumers, she has been instrumental many-a-times in conveying the voice / grievances of small / medium consumers to the manufacturers thereby helping them in formulating most suitable marketing strategies for re-positioning of their products in the market. She has authored several articles in technical journals and a regular speaker at various conferences in india & abroad.
