Courtney Arthur

Courtney Arthur is a Senior Associate at Industrial Economics, Incorporated, since November 2014, specializing in the restoration of natural systems impacted by man-made contaminants, with expertise in natural resource damage assessment, environmental data management, monitoring program development, and marine pollution science. Prior to this role, Courtney served as a Research Specialist for the NOAA Marine Debris Program at I.M. Systems Group from February 2009 to November 2014, where a five-year research agenda was developed, and subject matter expertise on plastic and micro-plastic debris was provided. Additionally, Courtney was a Knauss Fellow for the NOAA Marine Debris Program from February 2008 to January 2009, contributing science support and coordinating international research on micro-plastic debris. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from William & Mary and a Master of Science in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston.
