Jim Watt

Jim Watt CEng Eur Ing has over three decades of specialized experience in the oil, petrochemical, and chemical industries. Currently serving as a Global Expert in Reliability, Availability, and Maintenance at KBC (A Yokogawa Company) since 1997, Jim focuses on maintenance optimization, inspection procedures, reliability engineering, turnaround planning, and organizational improvements. Prior to this role, Jim was the Section Head of Field Engineering Services for ExxonMobil at the Fawley Refinery, where essential contributions included optimizing maintenance activities, developing work selection techniques based on risk analysis, implementing life cycle maintenance strategies for mechanical equipment, and leading the Tankage Rehabilitation Program. Jim holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey, obtained in 1990.
