Tom Dippel

Tom Dippel is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Sponsors Group, and he is based in the firm’s New York office. He is responsible for developing and managing relationships with private equity and hedge funds, family offices and other alternative investment firms. His specific areas of focus include middle-market M&A, distressed and special situations, industrials and oil & gas.

Mr. Dippel has 25 years of experience as an investment banker, and over the course of his career he has advised the boards and owners of publicly-traded and privately held companies in North America and Europe. His clients have included firms such as Aterian, Atlas Holdings, Blue Wolf Capital, Dunes Point Capital, GSO Capital Partners, Littlejohn & Co., Strategic Value Partners and TowerBrook. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Dippel was a Managing Director and COO of The Nassau Group, an M&A advisory firm with specific expertise in the areas of industrial technologies and environmental technologies.

Mr. Dippel graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Politics.
