Alex Aponte

Alex Aponte is an experienced Visual Effects Production Manager with a strong background in managing VFX production across multiple prestigious companies, including Industrial Light & Magic and Moving Picture Company. Currently serving as a Visual Effects Production Manager at Industrial Light & Magic since November 2022, Alex previously held the same title at Moving Picture Company from February 2020 to November 2022. Former roles include Visual Effects Production Coordinator at Mr. X and Industrial Light & Magic, where key responsibilities involved overseeing production teams, managing asset organization, and streamlining production processes. Alex has extensive experience in training and supporting production staff, as well as coordinating communications between studios and clients for various independent films and projects. Academic qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Animation and Visual Effects from the Academy of Art University and a Bachelor's of Science in Animation from Westwood College - Denver North.
