Baljinder Singh Bassi

Baljinder Singh Bassi is a highly experienced Lighting Technical Director and Artist in the visual effects and animation industry, currently working at Industrial Light & Magic since January 2023, contributing to multiple high-profile projects including "Ahsoka" for Disney+ and "Candy Cane Lane" for Amazon Prime. Previous roles include Intermediate Lighter at Sony Pictures Imageworks for "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," and Lighting TD at Framestore for the VFX project "1899." Additional significant contributions to films such as "Thor: Love and Thunder," "Hotel Transylvania 4," and "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" highlight expertise in lighting using various tools and pipelines, including Katana and Renderman. Bassi’s foundational education in lighting and artistry was completed at The Art Institute of Vancouver between 2009 and 2011.
