Bryan Horvat

Bryan Horvat is an experienced VFX Artist at Industrial Light & Magic since November 2008, specializing as a Particle-Simulation Technical Director, generating particle and fluid-based simulations with software such as Houdini. Notable film credits include "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," "Solo: A Star Wars Story," "Kong: Skull Island," and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows." Additionally, Bryan has served as a Hair Pipeline Technical Director, developing and supporting proprietary hair grooming tools for films including "The Irishman," "Aladdin," "Warcraft," and "The Revenant." Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Technical Director and Technical Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, and Quality Assurance Tester at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. Bryan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
