Delcio Gomes

Delcio Gomes is an accomplished 3D artist with extensive experience in the visual effects industry, currently serving as the Head of Department - Generalist & Environments at Industrial Light & Magic since October 2014. Gomes has led teams to deliver assets for notable films and series, including "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" and "Percy Jackson and the Olympians," while also creating environments for attractions like the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at EPCOT. Previously, Gomes held various roles at Blur Studio, Pixomondo, and Luma Pictures, contributing to films such as "Fast & Furious 9," "Aquaman," and "Rogue One." Gomes possesses strong leadership skills, having trained and mentored artists and fostered collaboration across departments to optimize workflows. Educationally, Gomes holds a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
