Diego Rebello

Diego Rebello is an accomplished visual effects professional with extensive experience in roto/paint and compositing roles, currently serving as the Head of Department for Paint & Roto at Industrial Light & Magic in Vancouver since February 2017. With a strong background in managing teams and complex projects, Diego has effectively supervised various roles within the department, developed efficient workflows, provided mentorship, and collaborated across departments. Prior to this, Diego held positions as a Lead Digital Paint Artist and Senior Digital Paint Artist at Industrial Light & Magic, as well as experience at Double Negative and multiple design and video companies. Diego's educational background includes a Diploma in Visual Effects Compositing from Lost Boys - Campus VFX and degrees in Cinema Studies and Communication and Media Studies from Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná.
